Mission statement
At Royster’s Community Foundation, we believe opportunity changes lives.
Rooted in more than 30 years of community service through Royster’s Gourmet Catering, we connect underserved youth, families, and returning citizens with the resources they need to succeed — through food, recovery, travel, advocacy, and community engagement.
Our work is community-based programming, delivered through the lens of love, inclusion, and food. We provide resources to those who need them, and we do it without asking anyone to prove they deserve to be helped.
Five pillars
Recovery
Restoration takes structure and support. We walk with people rebuilding their health, their habits, and their standing in the community.
Travel
Exposure expands what a young person believes is possible. From Detroit to humanitarian outreach in Africa, we take service on the road.
Advocacy
We speak for returning citizens and families whose needs too often go unheard, and we open the doors that were closed to them.
Community Engagement
Programming built with neighbors, not for them — inclusive, hands-on, and accountable to the people it serves.
